Writing Affirmations

How to write your own affirmations?

Creating your own affirmations is simple and requires no special skills or equipment. Here are some steps to get started:

  1. Identify your limiting beliefs: Start by identifying any negative thoughts or beliefs that may be holding you back. These could be things like “I’ll never be successful” or “I’m not good enough.” Write these beliefs down and acknowledge that they are not serving you.

  2. Rewrite those beliefs in positive terms: Next, take those limiting beliefs and rewrite them in positive terms. For example, “I am successful in my own way” or “I am capable and deserving of success.”

  3. Make it personal: Use language that feels personal and meaningful to you. This will help increase the emotional impact of your affirmations.

  4. Use present tense: Phrase your affirmations in the present tense, as if they are already true. This will help your brain to internalize the positive beliefs more effectively.

  5. Repeat regularly: Set aside time each day to repeat your affirmations to yourself. You can do this in the morning, before bed, or anytime throughout the day when you need a positivity boost.
