Gratitude in Action

Gratitude in Action. Write down three moments from this year you are grateful for—no matter how small. Then take time each morning during the rest of this week to reflect through journaling or prayer to really feel that gratitude, not just write it down.

Daily reflection for the rest of the week:

Monday Morning: Write down the three moments you identified above. Now, with your journal or in a quiet moment, think about the specific feeling each moment gave you. Was it relief, joy, or a sense of accomplishment? Try to re-experience that feeling now.

Tuesday Morning: Think about your day yesterday. Write down one new, small thing you are grateful for, like a beautiful sunset or finding a great parking spot. Then, try to "feel" that gratitude in your body. Notice any physical sensations, like a sense of peace or warmth.

Wednesday Morning: Reflect on the people in your life. Consider writing down the name of a person you're grateful for and why. Then, take a few moments to send a silent "thank you" their way or, if possible, say a quick "thank you" to them today.

Thursday Morning: Focus on your health or your home. Write down something specific you're grateful for related to your physical well-being, like being able to walk, or your living space, like having a roof over your head. Allow yourself to deeply appreciate this fundamental part of your life.

Friday Morning: Think about something you learned this week, even something small. Write it down. Then, consider how that knowledge or new perspective might help you in the future. Feel grateful for the ability to learn and grow.
